G-tech actually IS a different speed than one would see at the strip b/c the G-tech calculates the actual speed when the 1/4 is up, while the strip takes an average over the last x-hundred feet (even though you are still accelerating). So maybe when you guys are clicking 114, 115, 116 at the strip, you are actually going through closer to 120... ANYway, point being, I know the G-Tech is not perfectly accurate (although one of my runs was 13.624 on the clock and 13.62 on the G-tech), but I use it to compare my mods instead of heading north 2 hours to the strip every month. I'm surprised the Z can take such a beating like you described??? HIgh-launch, balls to the wall beating on it through each gear to get 11.xxx or 12.xxx @116 or so... Didn't I read the Mike replaced his tranny at some point? What clutch are you guys using to hold the power, and have you replaced any drivetrain parts yet? thanks, SS
